Andy joined Unusual Rigging in 2001, having spent 25 years in the industry, including 17 years touring as a Stage Technician with various productions, both in the UK and internationally. In 1993 he became Production Manager for Scottish Opera, and in 1996 joined the Welsh National Opera as Technical Manager.

Responsible for the management of the Rigging Service Contract at Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre, Andy’s memorable projects include covering the front of Earl’s Court entirely with artificial grass for the Ideal Home Show 2010, the BRIT Awards and events for Madonna, Roger Waters and Armani Red.
