Unusual Rigging is due to take delivery of another 100 Liftket 1 tonne within the next month. This will take their total hire inventory to just over 1000 chain hoists.

Although the existing range of Verlinde and Lodestar products continue to be used for a variety of rigging applications, the Liftket Chain hoists are ideally suited for the extensive theatre portfolio, currently being undertaken by Unusual Rigging. The Liftkets are light, robust and are quiet enough to be used in show conditions.

Unusual Rigging have just completed the tour of Starlight Express, removed Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from The Palladium and are currently working on a programme of reinstatement. In addition, they continue to provide rigging services for the tours of Miss Saigon and Mamma Mia and have recently been engaged to rig the touring productions of My Fair Lady and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

In addition to production rigging, Unusual continues to provide rigging equipment throughout the industry. Sales of Liftket chain hoists in 2005 have already exceeded 500 units, making it the most successful product in Unusual's sales range.
