Celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, London was the scene for a four day spectacular from June 1st - 4th 2002. Unusual was appointed main contractor for the event site, the design and implementation of the events and the infrastructure for the welfare and safety of those attending the events.
Over the four days, public attendance was estimated at 3 million. Global TV audience figures were over 200 million. 80% of those attending the event used public transport. The medical services on site dealt with less than 900 cases and only one case required overnight hospital treatment.
