During Sunday, the beacon was lowered onto the plinth and lighting tests were carried out. Overnight, the rocket travelling along the guide wire was rehearsed. The pictures show the 'naked rocket in our fabrication workshop in Northampton, the beacon being lowered into position, the rocket just before impact with the beacon base on Monday night and the moment of beacon ignition.
