Production Services

Unusual's production division has become synonymous with large scale National and International events. We provide a turnkey service to clients amongst whom are States, Governments, Corporations and Charities. The purpose of an event may be to celebrate, to honour, to remember or simply to entertain.

Hire & Sales

Unusual has large stocks of truss, motors, winches and assorted rigging equipment for hire.

We also retail a wide range of rigging, safety and access equipment. We have our own steel wire rope shop and make any length of steel sling to order. We are the only supplier in the UK of CE marked Quickterm connectors.

Why choose Unusual?

Our experience is a valuable commodity. It saves our clients time and money. At Unusual, we have a breadth of expertise that you will not find anywhere else. Under one roof, we have the most comprehensive asset base of specialised rigging equipment in Europe. We have four specialist workshops for steel fabrication, wire rope assembly, winch/chain hoist maintenance and electrics/electronics. Our specialists include mechanical, electrical and structural designers.

What do we do?

Essentially, we move things, we suspend them and we lift them. It may be a permanent move; a temporary move or it may be a repetitive move. Precisely what is moved, suspended of lifted is up to your imagination. This may include animate and inanimate objects. In moving, suspending or lifting things or people, we usually find that one or many of the following criteria apply:
