Unusual Rigging, The UK’s largest supplier of specialist technical rigging services to the entertainment and presentation industry showcased their new point hoist The Revolution at the ABTT Show this June. Unusual have rigged many of the large scale London musicals in recent years and also the tours following West End runs. The increasing size and complexity of the shows has brought a specific desire to provide a more flexible and efficient winch solution, which is quick and easy to use. Unusual have responded to the need with the development of their new point hoist called The Revolution.
Unusual win PLASA innovation award
The Revolution, Unusual Rigging's new winch was awarded a PLASA Innovation Award at the awards ceremony during the show on Monday 10th September. The endorsement of this exciting new product by PLASA, an organisation representing the full breadth of the entertainment industry is an enormous boost to the team at Unusual who have developed the product. The award from PLASA in addition to the award from the ABTT in June rounds off a very successful year for the product.
1000 Chain Hoists now in stock - November 2005
Unusual Rigging is due to take delivery of another 100 Liftket 1 tonne within the next month. This will take their total hire inventory to just over 1000 chain hoists.
