We're well into January now – and it feels almost a little too late to be saying Happy New Year. Nevertheless, we ended 2018 on a high – we hung the beautiful Regent Street Lights and Piccadilly Christmas lights again. We rigged no less than eleven pantomimes – oh yes we did! And we were responsible for the beautiful but wacky 8m slugs that graced the entrance of Tate Britain.

2018 also saw us head out to Paris to stage a breathtaking aerial acrobatics performance at the Musee D'Orsay with Streb Extreme Action and construct and install a giant head on the banks of the Thames to raise mental health awareness. We worked on cruise ships, at racecourses, in theatres; we lit up the skies of London during Lumiere 2018 and were the technical production company of choice for the Processions march through London to mark 100 years of women getting the right to vote. We've suspended aircraft and spacecraft in venues across the country and we've been a part of the long awaited refurbishment of Alexandra Palace.

2018 was also the year that four new directors were appointed to the Unusual board and AJ was awarded the prestigious Gottelier Award at PLASA 2018.

2019 is set to be just as exciting for us with work continuing on the English National Ballet's new home at City Island,  a new project starting at the Theatre Royal later this month, an amazing variety of shows both in the West End and touring, more museum work and some rather spectacular one-off's that we can't even mention yet....so watch this space!
