National Rigging Certificate (NRC):
Professional Accreditation for the Entertainment Industry
The National Rigging Certificate is a recognised qualification for riggers working across the entertainment sector, enabling individuals to demonstrate their practical skills, technical knowledge and professional competence within their chosen discipline. Successful candidates receive both a certificate and a skills ID card, providing clear industry recognition of their capability.
Unusual Rigging has supported and contributed to the NRC scheme since its launch in 2007, and the qualification is now widely regarded as a benchmark for safe and professional rigging practice. All Unusual riggers hold Level 2 or 3 accreditation and all trainee riggers are registered on the NRC trainee scheme, reflecting the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
Assessments are conducted at Unusual’s headquarters in Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire, overseen by qualified assessors.
